Category: Getting to Know You
Hi!
This is Peter, a fellow blind american just wanting to stop in and say "hi!" I'm twenty-seven years old and recent graduate of Auburn University in the southeastern U.S with a bachelors of art in political science. My physical traits are as follows: six foot tall, red hair, blue eyes, 180 average build and lanky structure as a whole. My hobbies are history, politics, sociology, food cuisine testing, traveling, agriculture, LGBTQ advocacy, news, programming and other related topics. Lastly, you might be wondering from other posts whether I'm gay or not and the answer is bisexual turning gay!
hugs,
Peter
Hello, Peter, welcome to the zone. You will meet all sorts of people around here. Hope you enjoy it.
Hi there Peter, welcome to the zone. I'm jodeci by the way. Hope you like it here.
'Welcome to Zoneland; you're learning the language beautifully; maybe you studied some before your arrival? LOL. I'm Dave in Boston, a gay, friendly, masculine blind guy who fancies himself a computerist and free software advocate. I've dabbled in playing a bunch of musical instruments and may have some natural inclination, but they just couldn't make me do my practice. Maybe I applied it to learning Morse? I'm quite good.
Nice to be here to all of you who said "HI!" Yes, Dave your awesome and masculine bla, bla, bla! I'lll never understand masculine guys at all! Nice to be welcomed with open arms not Microsoft's ARM either. No pun intended just that I'm troubled on that front with Microsoft of whether they will turn it out for the blind or not?
ah. so are you an apple enthusiast, too? do you hate windows? Grins. Just thought I'd through that out there. We just had a board on how supposedly microsoft is accessible to the blind. Sure it is. lol.
EXACTLY girl! I'm beginning to totally like Appl voceover on my I-Phone more than Window-Eyes. I'm tired of the name in only "Accessible Microsoft with their security flaws and fake packages. You know peopl talk about the price of Apple right? Nobody talks that Microsoft is like buying a cruise boat ticket tht it secretly costs double than its worth to really enjoy with outside products for anti-viruses, Office Suite, and varing oher things not mentioning the headaches with compatability issues, etc. Nope really enjoying Apple right now and plan on buying an Apple in my next computer purchase someday!
apple,
p.s: my laser etch on my I-Pod Touch says "An apple a day keeps windows away!" corny but affective!
